Groups planning a private event may offer their guests a cash bar, open bar with a full range of beverages or a more limited selection to help control costs or a combination of the two.
If this option is chosen the host will be responsible for a minimum guarantee in sales of $5 pp, but the guests will be asked to pay for their drinks individually. Cash bar prices include KY State Sales Tax.
If this option is chosen, the host will be paying for the alcohol based on the number of ALL guests of legal drinking age (21 yrs). Open bar prices do not include KY State Sales tax. This will be added to the Final Invoice that is to be paid 30 DAYS prior to the event.
In the case that you do not want any alcohol at you party, there
will be and additional $150 charge for the attendant and an
additional fee to the venue.

There will be a 20% gratuity percentage added for the Bar Staff. Tips will always be excepted by the Bar Staff. Any additional gratuities (servers, DJ, etc.) are to be paid to the events manager only.
We offer the following styles of catering for
wedding receptions and rehearsal dinners. Approximate food
service time is two hours. A 10% service charge
will added to all food costs.
Menus accommodate a minimum of 50 guests and are served for 1.5 hours. Simply Squared Disposable dinnerware and Reflections cutlery. Selections with an asterisk will have a slight Up Charge to the per person cost.

Buffet and Menu Pricing listed include service staff unless noted. The Barrel House and Bluegrass Catering reserves the right to secure the proper staffing for your event based on the style of service and number of guests. On the average, we recommend one attendant or bartender for every 75-100 guests.
