BAR ARRANGEMENTS

Groups planning a private event may offer their guests a cash bar, open bar with a full range of beverages or a more limited selection to help control costs or a combination of the two.

CASH BAR

If this option is chosen the host will be responsible for a minimum guarantee in sales of $5 pp, but the guests will be asked to pay for their drinks individually. Cash bar prices include KY State Sales Tax.

OPEN BAR

If this option is chosen, the host will be paying for the alcohol based on the number of ALL guests of legal drinking age (21 yrs).  Open bar prices do not include KY State Sales tax. This will be added to the Final Invoice that is to be paid 30 DAYS prior to the event.

NO ALCOHOL

In the case that you do not want any alcohol at you party, there will be and additional $150 charge for the attendant and an additional fee to the venue.

SIGNATURE DRINK

1 hour of a signature drink of your choice. $5pp

GRATUITIES

There will be a 20% gratuity percentage added for the Bar Staff. Tips will always be excepted by the Bar Staff. Any additional gratuities (servers, DJ, etc.) are to be paid to the events manager only.

FOOD SELECTIONS FROM BLUEGRASS CATERING

We offer the following styles of catering for wedding receptions and rehearsal dinners.  Approximate food service time is two hours.  A 10% service charge will added to all food costs.

HORS D'OEUVRES

Menus accommodate a minimum of 50 guests and are served for 1.5 hours. Simply Squared Disposable dinnerware and Reflections cutlery. Selections with an asterisk will have a slight Up Charge to the per person cost.

Country Ham on Mini Biscuits - - served warm in a chafer, herb and cheese also available 
Cocktail Croissants -- Your choice: mesquite turkey, almond chicken salad, or honey ham (also can be placed on assorted breads)
Meatballs -- served with barbecue, Asian or bourbon sauce
*Lettuce Wraps -- Chicken, Beef of Veggie
Reuben -- Corned beef and dressing richly layered in puff pastry

Mini Crab Souffle -- Wonton flower cup filled with crabmeat, yellow corn and diced red pepper
Chicken Strips, Fingers, or Wings -- you don't have to be choosy, all are wonderful
Boneless Chicken Wings -- served with barbecue, Asian or bourbon sauce
*Mini Beef and Pineapple Kabobs -- grilled with a tangy Caribbean sauce, chicken is optional 
*Smoked Salmon -- elegantly arranged with toasted almonds
*Salmon on Toast Points -- smoked salmon topped with capers, red onion
Mini Quiche -- always a favorite, we serve mushroom, spinach, or cheese
*Asparagus in Fillo -- Tender asparagus tips with julienne red pepper wrapped in flaky fillo with creamy goat cheese and garnished with white sesame seed.
*Crab Cakes -- served with an orange remoulade sauce or, if you prefer, cocktail sauce 
Baked Brie -- baked in a puff pastry, surrounded by crisp crackers; also ask for wild cherry or caramel topping
Mini Pork Ribs -- single bone in pork rib in sweet BBQ sauce
Mini Chicken or *Beef Wellington -- succulent meat layered in puff pastry with a hint of wine
Chicken Sausalito -- a blend of diced chicken and pepper jack cheese accented with jalapenos, salsa and sun dried tomatoes wrapped together in a firecracker shaped wonton.
Potato Skins -- topped with sour cream, melted cheese and chives
Mini Beef Sliders -- Hamburger and/or Cheeseburger, served on a roll with melted cheese
*Mini Chicken Sliders -- (grilled or fried) served on a roll 
*Mini Chicken Cordon Blue Sliders -- (grilled of fried) topped with shaved ham and served on a roll 
Southwest Fajita Beef Egg Roll -- fajita seasoned beef with black beans, cheddar, pepper jack cheese and salsa wrapped in an egg roll shaped chipolte flavored flour tortilla.
Meatballs -- served with a delicious BBQ, Sweet and Sour, or bourbon sauce. 
Fajita Wraps -- bite-sized fajitas; either chicken or beef
Mini Pan Pizza -- pepperoni, sausage, or cheese; nice complement for younger guests
Asiago & Pepperoni -- savory pastry shell baked with a three cheese blend of Asiago, Mozzarella & Romano with pepperoni
Vegetable or Smoked Chicken Quesadilla -- wrapped in a tortilla shell with cheese, served warm
Chicken & Bacon Quesadilla -- chicken with hickory smoked bacon, red & green peppers, and Monterey jack cheese in a flour tortilla.
Water Chestnuts In Bacon -- water chestnuts lightly coated in breadcrumbs with cured bacon

Pear & Brie -- a piece of pear, soft cheese, and almonds baked in phyllo

DINNER BUFFET

Menus accommodate a minimum of 50 guests and are served for 1.5 hours. Simply Squared Disposable dinnerware and Reflections cutlery. Served with a two starters, Garden Salad and Assorted Rolls. You can change your Garden Salad to another salad for a small up charge.

ALL Dinners will include two of Bluegrass Caterings specialties as starters.

Buffet and Menu Pricing listed include service staff unless noted. The Barrel House and Bluegrass Catering reserves the right to secure the proper staffing for your event based on the style of service and number of guests. On the average, we recommend one attendant or bartender for every 75-100 guests.
